Dear Eighth Grade Parent(s) or Guardian(s):

I will be sponsoring a school board approved educational tour to Washington D.C. and Gettysburg, PA for interested eighth grade students scheduled for May 4-7, 2022. I will be giving information about this next week. The cost of the trip is $575.00 per person (based on quad occupancy for sleeping arrangements). For this price each student receives:

  1. Round-trip transportation in a modern air-conditioned motor coach
  2. Meals
  3. Tour guides on each bus
  4. Hotel accommodations for two nights
  5. Admission to every sightseeing event
  6. Complete liability and medical coverage
  7. Nighttime supervision

This program is complete and the tour costs cover everything with the exception of souvenirs and snacks.  The trip is optional, but well worth the price. It will give the students the opportunity to see our government in action, appreciate our history, honor our heroes, and experience life in a big city. I hope your child will take this opportunity to travel to our nation’s capital.

Payment Due Dates: The tour is being arranged and booked by Prodigy Student Travel LLC of Worthington, OH.

We are having a fundraiser which will be offered later this year. Information will be given to the students in December about this fundraiser. Please take advantage of this money making opportunity.

There are factors that may affect whether the student is allowed to experience this field trip. Any discipline issues that occur during the school year may prevent the student from participating.

Thanks for helping me make education come to life for our students.
